CASPER, Wyo.– Fifteen missing persons cases have been added to the Wyoming Criminal Investigation Department’s missing persons database since the beginning of the summer.
Twelve of those missing are men and three are women. Twelve of the 15 missing people added to the database this summer were also under 18 when they were reported missing.
Five of the missing persons cases added this summer are from Natrona County. A total of 79 missing persons cases dating back to 1974 are listed in the Wyoming Missing Persons Database as of Monday, September 19.
The Wyoming Missing Persons Database includes information obtained through the National Crime Information Center. Entries on the NCIC are created by individual law enforcement agencies.
Wyoming DCI says it removes cases from the database when notified that the law enforcement agency that entered a case has removed it from the NCIC. The database does not necessarily include the latest information on specific cases.
“Anyone with information regarding any of these cases is urged to contact the appropriate law enforcement agency or the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigations,” Wyoming DCI says. “To submit a WYOMING missing person tip, please click here.“
