Air Jordan 3 Winterized Archaeo Brown DR8869-200

The Air Jordan 3 is having a great year, with its “Fire Red” colorway returning soon later this fall. Spring 2023 also has some exciting offerings in store: both the “reimagined” as well as the yet-to-be-revealed “Mars.” And in between – in October, specifically – we can expect to see the shoe in an “Archaeo Brown” winter configuration.

True to its namesake, the shoe features the aforementioned brown across the majority of its upper. Adjacent accents then alternate between ‘Dark Smoke Grey’, ‘Fossil Stone’, ‘Light Bordeaux’ and ‘Cement Grey’, creating a much more diverse palette than past winter options. The materials, however, are surely just as rugged: premium nubucks make up the majority of the construction, the collar leathers are replaced with thick mesh, and the toe cap and heel counter are reinforced in a way that reminiscent of Sashiko stitching.
