Editor’s Notes: In July 2019, Stüssy and Cactus Plant Flea Market released a pretty fun collection that perfectly intertwined the cheeky and graphic design elements of both brands. Two summers later, the duo are back in action, once again focusing on bold imagery, but expanding the range to include even more warm-weather essentials.
This new joint effort crowns a series of strong collaborations with Stüssy, which recently included the rebirth of the Nike Air Huarache OG from Stüssy and another partnership with Our Legacy. Cactus Plant Flea Market, meanwhile, has kept a relatively low profile since its last collaboration with Nike, although one might speculate that a big Swoosh drop is reason enough to take it relatively easily.
As the temperatures heat up, so does clothing from Stüssy and CPFM, with plenty of easy shirts and shorts on hand to allow for easy summer styling. A short-sleeved shirt is a nice reminder of unity (each heart is printed with “üs”) and matches a pair of pink shorts loaded with a heart and co-branding. The shorts are available in black if you need to tone down the look, and there are equally understated tees and hoodies on hand for any conservative dresser. However, the mainstays of the case are a striking ensemble that includes a highlighter colored jacket and jeans made with an all-over branding to ensure maximum visual impact.
