Converse Sponge Crater “Black” A01240C

Back in June, Converse teamed up with A-COLD-WALL to unveil the Sponge Crater CX, an all-new design that combines “futuristic styling” with “next-gen comfort.” And following the release of its ACW-created colorway, the shoe will see not one but two GR versions.

Here, the Converse-made silhouette appears in “Triple Black.” The neutral dyes both the foam shell and the knit underneath, effectively masking much of the texture of the upper, especially the asteroid-like surface of the aforementioned foam. Only the branded fixtures inject some color: alongside the orange-hued insole, the shoe features light green embroidery on the various Converse-specific Converse insignia.
