After having had a very brief preview in June, we now have our first preview of the upcoming Yeezy 450 “Resin”. A colourway that has already appeared on Kanye West’s Slide as well as the 350 V2, it’s perfect for the fall and winter months to come.
Dipped in a unique greenish beige shade, the “resin” is painted in one tone all over the shoe. Stretch Primeknit material forms the upper for a sock-like fit, and this is secured by a tight collar that keeps everything in place. Integrated eyelets on the upper of the 450 provide a sleek, seamless look, while elongated tongue and heel sections make this Yeezy easy to put on and take off.
Of course, you can’t talk about this sneaker without mentioning the shark-tooth-inspired EVA foam midsole underfoot. Designed by legendary Steven Smith who also created icons such as the Reebok InstaPump Fury, New Balance 1500, and Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2, this unit stretches all the way to the top for a look that’s sure to make turn heads.
Scheduled to land at the end of the year in December, the adidas Yeezy 450 “Resin” may not be for everyone, but there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that it’s. is a unique shoe. Let us know what you think of this upcoming colorway, and in related news, the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Mauve” has been unveiled!
