Our basketball team is called the Miami Heat for a reason.

So many people were scratching their heads at the FTX Arena on Wednesday when Floyd Mayweather dressed for a snowstorm.

The boxing champ was pictured courtside as the Heat took on the Phoenix Suns head-to-toe in cold weather gear, down to his $795 after Balmain ski boots.

Mayweather, known for his over-the-top fashion, must have been a bit raunchy. Low weather was not so mild 77 degrees.

According to Balmain’s website, the so-called The capsule style is made of nylon and leather, ideal for the Swiss Alps, not downtown Miami.

But we applaud the fact that Mayweather decided to dress up for the occasion. Could we suggest sneakers next time?

We know friend Kanye West does some cool kicking; the rapper-designer’s Nike Air Yeezy 1 prototypes sold at auction for a record $1.8 million last year.

West and Mayweather just partied together at the club for Mayweather’s 45th in Miami. Oh, to be a fly on the wall listening to their clothing talks.
