Jinger Duggar breaks parent rules by wearing jeans: Photo

Rebel without a cause! counting on alum Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) is breaking her family’s strict dress code yet again – and she looks happy to do it!

Jinger, 28, was spotted comfy and relaxed in a photo that her husband, Jeremy Vuoloshared via Instagram on Friday, April 15. The mother-of-two smiled for the camera in a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans that she cuffed at the ankles, a simple white French tucked-in t-shirt and a pair of Mystic Green Nike Air Max 200s.

She completed the look with a high ponytail as the couple strolled in Los Angeles, California.

Fans were quick to notice the rebellious look. “More skirts and dresses. Good for you,” one follower commented. “THE PANTS! Love these,” another wrote alongside some heart-eye emojis.

Others couldn’t help but notice how happy she looked. “Looks like you’re your best self,” one person said. “Jinger, you are beautiful. Blessings to you and your beautiful family,” added another.

This isn’t the first time Jinger has strayed from her parents’ super-conservative rules, though. She has been wearing jeans since shortly after marrying Jeremy, 34, in 2016.

Just last month, Michelle and Jim Bob DuggarThe daughter of shared a mirror selfie on her own Instagram page from an H&M store in Los Angeles. Again, she wore a plain white t-shirt, but this time she opted for denim shorts cut above the knee.

In the 2014 memoir she wrote with sisters Jana Duggar, Jill Dillard (née Duggar) and Jessa Seewald (née Duggar), Jinger explained the origin of the strict “no pants” rule.

“We don’t dress modestly because we are ashamed of the body God has given us; quite the contrary. We realize our body is a special gift from God and He wants it to be shared only with our future husband,” they explained.

“We really wanted to see what the scriptures said about [modesty]their mother, Michelle, 55, wrote in a 2013 blog post for TLC. “Our interpretation was that the neck down to the knee should be covered.”

“I should really define who I am as a woman by choosing to wear dresses and skirts,” she said.

Jinger and Jeremy share two daughters, Felicity, 3, and Evangeline, 16 months.
