Just Don Courtside Hi sneakers release date
[ad_1]
Since its founding in 2011, Just Don has managed to create a plethora of desirable collaborative sneakers by mixing hoops, hip-hop and athletic wear with luxurious materials on Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse shoes, but now the brand. Don C-helmed takes a bold new direction with the launch of his first online sneaker: the Courtside Hi. Drawing inspiration from Don C’s Chicago roots and longtime love of basketball, the Courtside Hi features a silhouette and construction inspired by Michael Jordan’s famous 1992 Ferrari Testarossa 512TR.
Arriving in âWhite / Tealâ and âBlack / Cream,â the shoe’s most obvious Ferrari-inspired piece is its heel, which features ridged detailing that mimics the rear grille and seats of the 512TR. Outside of this high-powered piece, there are plenty of design features that seem to draw from early ’90s Nike shoes – the cutout collar and neoprene tongue fitted with a Just Don badge are reminiscent of images from the Air Flight Huarache, while the forefoot overlay gives off a slight Air Flight ’89 vibe. Each pair is made in Italy from a very high quality leather and sits on a chunky midsole with a shape inspired by the doors of the 512TR to complete its construction.
The Just Don Courtside Hi in “White / Teal” and “Black / Cream” will be released on the Just Don online store on June 25th.
