As the 40th anniversary approaches, the Nike Air Force 1 continues to demonstrate that it is not interested in resting on its laurels.
Although this is a more recent variant in the world of the AF1, the “Shell” iteration of the model has found great success after the fall and winter seasons. For its latest set, the protective top features a light purple on its nylon ‘shell’, while undertones of white and a light blue tint complement it across the entire upper and sole. Lace toggles at the heel inject non-standard functionality into the Air Force 1, while the arrangement of the ‘colorless’ midsole and outsole is reminiscent of Bruce Kilgore’s original design.
No Nike.com release in the US has been confirmed, but the pair is already available in Asia. In any case, take advantage of the official images of the shoes to come.
