Nike Air Huarache Craft “Black” FD2012-001
One year from his 30th birthday, the Nike Air Huarache recently emerged in an updated version that combines outdoor aesthetics with forward-looking durability.
Recently resurfaced in all black, the Air Huarache Craft reinvents the silhouette lit by Tinker Hatfield’s 1991 scuba gear for the next 31 years. At a glance, the silhouette features familiar design cues, but closer inspection confirms the model’s taller shape and busier upper. Neoprene and textile materials come together throughout the shoe, with a fabric “cage” providing support and structure to the profiles. The guardrails around the heel have also been updated, with their heel connection strip opting for a canvas finish instead of TPU. under the feet, Nike HuaracheThe beloved sole unit is also modified for the future with midsoles favoring a different shape and height. The pull, however, offers the most obvious departure from the original design, given its overdone look and partially recycled construction.
No company Nike.com the launch date has been leaked by the brand, but that should change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official sneaker images ahead.
