The Nike Air Huarache Doernbecher is officially revealed and it’s one of six standout silhouettes in Swoosh’s exclusive Doernbecher Freestyle 2023 (XVIII) collection. Designed by 13-year-old Dario Villaseñor Valdivia, the sneaker officially comes draped in a combination of “Kumquat/Cinnamon-Starfish-Rough Green.” Overall, Dario’s Air Huarache pays homage to some of his favorite things: oranges, his long-haired plushie, and creating stick animations for his YouTube channel. Additionally, Dario was diagnosed with leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant seven years ago. However, his body attacked the donor cells, leaving his lungs badly damaged. But through it all, Dario Villaseñor Valdivia remained Siempre Fuerte (Always Strong).
