Nike Air Huarache GS Black Blue Purple DR0166-001

The Nike Air Huarache is nearing the end of its 30th anniversary, but that hasn’t stopped it from emerging in compelling colorways. Example: a kids-exclusive black, blue and purple styling reminiscent of the original Air Flight Huarache from 1992.

Tumbled mesh, neoprene and synthetic leather construction throughout the upper of the pair delivers a dark tone that sets the stage for much more vibrant details that appear elsewhere. The sandal-inspired collar and tongue stray from its surroundings in a light but punchy blue, while the ‘NIKE’ branded heel strap features a semi-translucent purple finish. Underfoot, the sole favors a white layout, but the reinforcement at the high wear areas on the outsole opts for a multicolored Nike Grind material.
