The Nike Air Max 2021 incorporates reductive design principles, removing elements to highlight the silhouette’s most vital component – a new Nike Air unit. The new amorphous Nike Air unit is nestled in a new foldable TPU heel clip that allows the user to further experience the benefits of Air technology – cushioning and energy return.
The Nike Air Max 2021 has a lower PSI in the center of the air unit creates a smoother feel underfoot, while the outer ring of the air unit features a higher PSI to provide a stable stride. . The Nike Air Max 2021 is made of at least 20% recycled content by weight: Vamp – 36% recycled polyester, Overlay and eyelets – synthetic letter with 28% recycled polyester, Strobel – 80% recycled polyester, Nike Air unit – 74 % Recycled TPU, Outsole – 13% Recycled Nike Grind.
