NIKE, Inc. has made no secret of where it drew inspiration from for some of its most iconic styles. Still, some of his proposals remain mysteries, leading viewers to speculate as to what might have informed a particular colorway or set of design elements.
The latest Nike Air Max 90 allowed savvy, casual shoe lovers to do just that. Covered in grey, black and yellow colours, the 32-year-old figure resembles the colors of Batman’s classic uniform. Similar to previously surfaced Air Max cushioning proposals, the Batman theme comes together via the predominantly gray upper. Complementary black and yellow hues appear scattered across the branding, tread and other support details. The North American institution probably won’t divulge whether or not the upcoming sneakers are inspired by Gotham’s vigilante, but the comparison is there.
