With 2021 being the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Huarache, the silhouette has returned in several comeback colourways, including the OG “Deep Magentaâ€. The purple and aqua color scheme, which Michael Jordan sported at one of the previous Bulls Championship parades, will make a comeback once again, this time in the Nike Air Max 90.
Similar to the Huarache, this classic Max Air features a white mesh base complemented by white leather inserts. “Aquatone” makes its way onto the TPU laces, heel tab and Air cassette. This leaves the namesake purple tinting the remaining laces and tumbled leather profile Swooshes. A black leather livens up the mudguard and counterbalances the rest of the model’s vibrant hues. However, all the colors are found under the foot to complete the ’90s inspired look.
