Nike Air Max 90 Wear-Away DO6108-001

With the Nike Air Force 1 detachable going viral on TikTok earlier this year, the Swoosh appears to be applying similar concepts to other silhouettes. This turns out to be the case as Nike slowly unveils its “Alter and Reveal” pack, a collection of classics such as the Nike Air Max 97 revealing an all-new colourway after some time of wear and tear. The next to have fun is none other than the Nike Air Max 90.

At first glance, the pair appears to represent a mix of neutrals including beige mudguards, gray suede accents, and black leather overlays. However, continued wear exhibits the true colors of the AM 90, a bold and colorful proposition. The seemingly black toe and profile Swooshes hide a bright orange and royal blue, respectively, below. In addition, the beige fender turns bright yellow due to wear. A special “Alter and Reveal” branding on the tongue and unruly stitches near the laces complete the design for a fun, unruly look full of surprises.

Take a closer look at the Air Max 90 below, which will be available on Nike.com in the coming months for $ 120.
