As the Nike Air Max 95 gradually approaches its 30th anniversary, the silhouette continues to reinvent itself through experimental designs and colourways. For his latest proposal, Sergio Lozano’s design indulged in shades of green and gray on an upper with a non-standard quick-lacing system.
Unlike an iteration previously seen dressed in ‘Kaki / Black / Total Orange’, the newly remade pair showcases a few tones on its mesh, canvas and suede upper. Shades of forest green appear alongside their grayscale counterparts for a versatile but rather drab arrangement. Reflective details reappear on the tongue and spine, while branding on the heel, side ankle and socks opt for vibrant ‘Volt’ styling. Likewise, the Air Max‘s extra set of laces features a highlighter-like shade. Underfoot, the ostensibly inspired hiking shoe option opts for “Bone†makeup on the midsole; The embossed tread pattern favors “black”.
Details of the official Nike.com release were not disclosed by the brand, but this modified Nike Sportswear classic is expected to land before the end of 2021. Either way, enjoy the images of the pair below.
