Nike Air Max 97 Gray Yellow FB3357-001
While the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1 garners the majority of praise, Bruce Kilgore’s design isn’t the only lifestyle silhouette to celebrate a landmark year, with Christian Tresser’s full-length Air Max silhouette from 1997 also taking advantage of the conclusion of its 25th year in rotation. For its latest proposition, the Air Max 97 continues to use fall-appropriate offerings.
The majority of Estate models are decked out in Fossil Gray with a dark green undertone, filling in the smooth suede mudguard, nylon inner liner and mesh tongue construction while accents of White occur along the middle of the foot in matching material. Underfoot, a clad white midsole sits atop the semi-translucent bright yellow air bag while black and gray tones blend together for the tread configuration. In a lasting twist on the tonal spectrum, lemon-flavored embroidered Swooshes carry the upper tongue and quarter.
