Spring is coming soon to Sprung, as is the collection of the same name from Nike. And to complement the Air Max 95 previously revealed, the brand is adding an Air Max 97 of a similar design to the list.
Although it is an ode to the coming season, the colourway is mostly made up of neutrals. “Sail” tints the panels a bit, adding an aged feel to the textured leathers and suede. A deeper tan is then sandwiched in between, applied to the tread, mesh base and burlap tongue. Adjacent, two shades of purple come into play; the darker of the two is visible through the switchbacks and the air unit, while the lighter variation accentuates the Swoosh side and its anthropomorphic caterpillar. In addition, equally playful patterns are found on the tongue and the insole.
