While it remains one of the least popular Air Max propositions, that hasn’t stopped The Swoosh from continuously digging into disparate looks on the Air Max Plus 3 over the past few months. After two-tone color blocking took center stage in recent iterations, Sean McDowell’s design craves a boastful sampling of the rainbow.
Silhouettes surrounding the all-black construction fill the underfoot sole, heel and inner lining alongside color-matched laces while its mesh overlay renders a multicolored gradient starting with indigo at the toe and ending with a titular red hue at the ankle collar. Translucent TPU panels are transparent along the heel airbag while the model’s typical Tuned Air badge appears on the tongue in white, yellow and black in conclusion.
