Nike Air Max Plus “Grey/Orange” DM0032-001
The Nike Air Max Plus hasn’t dethroned other models with visible Air units (at least in the US) since its debut in 1998, but the silhouette continues to be a new option for casual and discerning consumers.
Recently, Sean McDowell’s creation appeared in a mostly grayscale set. The palm-like TPU overlays throughout its upper, however, introduce a hint of orange into the mix. Hints of lemon hue also liven up lace loops along the tongue, parts of the sole, and the midfoot whale tail upper. Tuned Air bubbles in the heel forgo any bright contrast, as is the case with the Air Max unit under the forefoot. Nonetheless, every aforementioned detail comes together to create a fresh yet fitting style atop one of the most innovative Swoosh designs of the late 1990s.
No firm Nike.com release date has been disclosed by the brand, but that should change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
