The Nike Air Max Plus is no stranger to colorways borrowing shamelessly from other Air Max classics, but this latest release doesn’t have to go that far to make the connection. Inspired by the original “Celery” colorway of the Air Tuned Max, this upcoming Air Max Plus expertly adapts one of the most recognizable sneaker colorways of the late 1990s.
Featuring a standard Air Max Plus construction, these upcoming releases use an anodized metal upper to achieve that signature copper look on the upper. A dark wine red overlay on the lava cage as well as the mudguard adds a little more red to the colorway, while the exposed metallic gold on the midfoot and outsole brings a stylish touch. Our favorite detail is definitely the Tuned Air cushioning unit on the insole in the heel area!
