Nike continues to invest in community initiatives with a series of summer releases including an Air Force 1, Cortez, SB Dunk Low, Air Max 95 and more.
Since 2000, Nike has been spotlighting Puerto Rico with exclusive designs and this year is no different. Two AF1 silhouettes join two NSW polo shirts to pay homage to PR. The mini capsule features multi-colored elements inspired by the city of San Juan with additional design elements inspired by dominoes, a hobby that spans communities in New York and Puerto Rico.
Nike is celebrating Pride Month with three sneakers and matching apparel. The footwear offering includes a Cortez, Dunk Low and Oneonta sandal, while the apparel collection includes tie-dye hoodies and shorts.
With designs inspired by indigenous peoples, the N7 collection returns for Summer 2022 with a Nike Free Trail Moc, Air Max 95 and Nike Kyrie 5 Low. Footwear, as well as a selection of garments, feature natural dyes and woven details that make use of traditional weaving techniques.
Watch out for the Puerto Rican capsule on June 4. The Nike Be True Oneonta, SB Dunk Low and apparel releases June 22nd and the N7 collection drops June 21st. Stay tuned for release information on the Nike Cortez “Be True” dropping at a later date.
