The Waffle One is easily one of Nike’s best new creations, a perfect bridge between retro and contemporary design. And with its next appearance, the shoe incorporates a similar palette to the beloved Air Max 1 “Curry”.
While not totally outlandish in its homage, the colorway has a lot of similarities to the above. First, his blend of “Cider” and “Twine” closely resembles the food-inspired color; they’re even similarly balanced, as White and its creamier offshoots dress the Swoosh and adjoining sole unit. Additionally, the upper also features a hint of blue, although its appearance here is much more subtle.
