Virgil Abloh, from Off-White to Louis Vuitton, has rubbed shoulders with the Air Force 1 throughout his career, selecting Bruce Kilgore’s beloved creation for many different projects. And after facilitating the conversation between the aforementioned luxury house and Nike, the late designer leaves one final mark on the shoe.
Shortly after its black colorway was officially revealed, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid surfaced again in its alternate white makeup. Similar to its darker counterpart, this pair takes inspiration from the Zoom Terra Kiger 5 as track spikes partially adorn the outsole. Secondary lace units, zip ties and more are also present, adding familiar elements alongside a series of experimental additions, such as the transformed, almost melted midsole and graffiti-style branding.
