Nike’s constant efforts to roll out the Nike Air Force 1 Mids could be a sign of their attempt to create some hype around the figure, which leads us to believe that there could be more Air Force 1 Mid collaborations to come. come in 2022.

The sneaker that launched Nike, the Cortez, is finally back on the front of the stage. 2022 marks the 50e silhouette’s anniversary and we can expect Nike to do everything in its power to celebrate this milestone. Recent leaks have confirmed this prediction.

Leaked insider Instagram page @solebyjc revealed a sneaker shop, Union LA rotation on the Cortez. Two weeks later, Unique collector has received inside information that Sacai is working on a collaboration with Cortez.

If you’ve always loved this sleek retro runner, the good news is that you can expect more high-profile versions of this silhouette over the coming year.

The Blazer has seen a resurgence, even in 2021. From their highly anticipated collaboration with Readymade and countless renditions of Sacai and Kaws, the Blazer is no stranger to the SNKRS app.

Looking ahead, new leaks have unveiled variants of Off-White and Acronym and a new color of the Sacai x Kaws blazer Moo. If that momentum continues, the Blazer could come out as frequently as the Nike Dunk Low. But only time can tell if Nike can create the same level of hype with notable collaborations and celebrity backers.

Nike Dunks becomes Air Jordan 1

Everything we know about the Union LA x Nike Dunk Drop: early 2021

It looks like the Dunk will follow in the footsteps of the Air Jordan 1, which will see Nike milking the popularity of the silhouette by releasing a new colourway and collaboration every two weeks. People are bound to be jaded by the multiple versions if they aren’t already. Images rendered by Union LA Dunk, Cactus flea market and Polaroid have appeared on social networks. At the same time, a Dunk SB “Blueberry” is in preparation alongside a St Patrick’s Day inspired colors. @Py_rates also made fun of a “Fossil” dunk is slated for release in 2022. As we move into the new year, we can certainly expect plenty of more colorways and collaborations to be unveiled in the months to come.

Change much needed

We’re happy to see that the first leaks point to a potential change in Nike’s roster for 2022. The entry of the Air Force 1 Mid, Blazer and Cortez offers more variety beyond the endless Dunk and Jordan drops that fill the SNKRS application schedule. Depending on the brand’s efforts to push, these sneakers could become just as popular as the Air Jordan 1s and Nike Dunk.
