Following on from the “Recess” collection that debuted earlier in the year, the Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 2 “Playground” was unveiled in two colorways in September. The collection as a whole laments the end of summer, celebrating the season’s hoop traditions in a way that doubles as a tribute to the legacy of Penny Hardaway herself as well as her signature sneakers.
